Ghent
About Ghent
Ghent, a charming city, is known for its hidden treasures and lively atmosphere. An old town with dazzling sights, cosy markets and impressive building fronts. The fascinating history will take you back in time: visit the famous castles or museums, discover the city by boat on the canals or attend one of its many events. It’s a place where you’ll never get bored.

Ghent is the ideal place for a charming city-trip. And what better place to stay than in the middle of the authentic center? Cap’s House has the perfect location, where everything is easily accessible by foot.

THINGS TO DO
Monuments
Many monuments of Ghent are within walking distance. Visit the three beautiful cathedrals, the city hall, the graslei and the korenlei. You can also visit the Castle of the counts and relax on the many cosy city squares.

Restaurants
Come and taste the locale cuisine. Maybe try some authentical dishes "Gentse waterzooi" or "Stoverij" . Some recommended restaurants are: Het Pakhuis, T'oud Klooster or t'Klokhuys. Tip: don't forget to make a reservation if you want a good seat.
Museums
There are many museums within walking distance such as the modern Design museum, the cultural museum Huis van Alijn, or the Ghislain museum about psychiatric institutions. The museum of fine arts and modern arts are easy to visit by tram
Bars / Party
Ghent has many great bars. Try some typical Belgian beers at de Dulle Griet or the Waterhuis aan de bierkant. If you like it a bit more fancy, go drink cocktails at The Cobbler. If you would like to go out, try out the famous street "overpoort", the cool square "oude beestenmarkt" or enjoy some music at the "Charlatan".
Events

Transport
Even though everything is accessible by foot, you have a broad selection for public transport. Many trams and busses can bring you to the right location. Bruges is 39 km from Cap's House, and Antwerp is around 45km from the property.
Cannes
About Cannes
Cannes is known for many things: Croisette, the filmfestival, it's marvelous harbor and beach, the many fashionable shops and it's interesting museums.

Go for a city or business trip to this charming apartment in the middle of the city center. Les Pins Tranquilles has the perfect location, where everything like a bakery and many restaurants, are easily accessible by foot.

Monuments
Visit different historic monuments of Cannes. Visit the many beautiful cathedrals and castles, or stroll on the beautiful boulevard next to the beach and the harbor.

Museums
There are museums you should definitely visit such as the modern Centre d'art la Malmaison, the historical museum Musee de la Castre. Other then that, there is a wide variety of many other nice museums
Events
There are many well known events in the area such as the famous film festival of Cannes, or the many nice markets with local products and great atmosphere.

Cannes has the best nightspots. Go out in your most beautiful outfit in the upmarket bar Le Baoli. Try your luck in one of the many Casinos like Casino le Croisette. Afterwards move your body in the music club Gotha Club.
